The 5th annual Royal Heritage Festival will take place on the 10th of September with a lineup that’s bigger than before. Phalaphala FM teamed up with Royal Gardens to bring you another installment of the festival that was inaugurated in 2012 in celebration of heritage month.
Royal Gardens, a breath-takingly scenic venue overlooking Nandoni Dam along Luvuvhu River, will once again play host to Venda’s hottest event with an expected turnout of 15 000-21 000 people. The stellar lineup includes some of South Africa’s hottest artists and artists from Venda to promote local talent. Expect to be blown away by the likes of Riky Rick, Thandiswa Mazwai, Kwesta, Nasty C, DJ Dimples and the legendary Colbert Mukwevho.
The festival aims to provide the province with an opportunity to bring people together to celebrate South Africa’s rich cultural heritage and promote tourism.
The event will kick off at 10am and as usual, it won’t end until 6am the following day. Tickets are R180 at Computicket and R200 at the door.
