#MBFWJ16 Spring/Summer saw many fashion lovers convening at the Nelson Mandela Square from the 10th-13th of August. These are some of my favourite collections.

Haute Bosso

Even though the coats and jackets seemed a bit heavy for a spring/summer colelction, the styling was spectacular and the looks worked. The military jackets, flowy black dresses and cute totes are a must have.

Adama Paris

Black and white dominated the catwalks this season. I loved this designer’s play on different types of prints like stipes and polka dots, all in black and white with some splashes of colour.

Mina Evans

I was sold when I saw the tassles on that pink skirt and black dress. The high waisted wide legged pants give off 70s vibes with a modern twist.

Buda Malete x Dj Tira

As already mentioned here in my noted.man menswear roundup, I was both suprised and pleased by the use of pink and forest green. I also love how the corduroy pants don’t look too heavy for summer.

Tayla Nguskos x Minnie Dlamini

Nothing says spring/summer quite like this collection. It’s light, bright and super easy.
